Essential Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will help the Manufacturing Applications Owner and Project Manager for Avio Aero IT on the following activities:
    • Planning, defining and implementing PLM Platforms & related Manufacturing Tools to support and improve Supply Chain Processes;
    • Guarantying platforms evolution and innovation;
    • Develop the know-how on CAx disciplines in scope to support methodologies development and their integration into the PLM Platforms.  Coordinate the Change Management.
  • Helping the team to establish with Avio Aero Manufacturing and Supply Chain the vision and roadmap for manufacturing solutions, supporting projects associated with that area in order to enable Supply Chain Growth and Innovation;
  • Collaborate across the Avio Aero IT and Functional organizations to support IT Integration projects as well as to guarantee the respect of Compliance requirements and constraints;
  • Help the  IT team to partner with GE global team to balance a proper integrated portfolio of global and local apps minimizing any overlap;
  • Getting knowledge and technical expertise on Shopfloor Tools and Applications;
  • Supporting the Project Manager and Applications Owner to guarantee IT Projects and IT Platforms’ time-evolution and their continuous alignment to the Business Needs in order to simplify and improve the Company Processes;Collaborate with his/her Manager to build a partnership with client leaders and users to evaluate/improve business processes and arrive at mutual, cost effective solutions for business processes;
  • Gain knowledge on how to manage the complete IT Projects lifecycle, from technology benchmarking to business requirements gathering, analysis, development, till solution deployment and maintenance, ensuring the respect of time and cost constrains;
  • Helping his/her team to strongly interact and collaborate with Business Process Owners to identify their needs, and with IT colleagues in all sites to evaluate the best solution that can properly address Business Process Owners requirements, taking into account all the impacts on the IT Scenario;
  • Supporting the team to coordinate Technology Suppliers guaranteeing that all the deliverables provided are aligned with the targets agreed;
 
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology (IT), Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering;
  • Interest in Product Development Processes (Engineering and Manufacturing);
  • Interest/basic knowledge of Manufacturing IT Tools (CAD/CAM, Post Processing, Simulation) and CNC Machines;
  • Fluency in Italian and English (both spoken and written);
  • EU Work Permit.

  • Interpersonal skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams;
  • Oral and written communication skills including fluent English;
  • Proven analytical and problem resolution skills;
  • Motivated to grow, proactive and able to set own action plans;
  • Open to innovation and interest to stay abreast of technology advancements;
  • An experience abroad (study or work) will be considered as a plus.
